Well as Summer is upon us, its time to get ready for Summer Camps and keep your kids /teenagers busy with some adventures with Gtown. Over the last 8 years we have built up an excellent reputation for running the best Summer Camps in Garrettstown. Our expert staff, adventure program and resources are unmatched. We focus all all children's well-being, safety, enjoyment and with learning as the central focus.

Surfing is the primary focus on all camps but we also include Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Coasteering, Bodyboarding and Beach Olympics games. Throughout the camps our expertise, energy and professionalism ensures your childs fun and development. We place particular importance on fair play through sport, working together and respect for the environment.

Our "Nipperz" Camp is for 8-12 year olds, runs Monday to Friday, 10am to 1pm and costs €125 per child.

Our "Little Ninja's" Camp is for 4-7 year olds, runs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10am to 12 midday and costs €65 per child.

Our 2 day "Teen Surf camp" is on every Monday & Tuesday from 10am til 4pm both days and costs €75 per person but we also offer repeat visit places for just €50 per child.

Check out Gtown Surf School owner, Jon Hynes, who is appearing on RTE's "Families in the Wild'. The 4 part series is currently running on RTE 1 on Monday nights at 9.35pm. As with the previous "Teens in the Wild", David Coleman is at the helm with his expert advice and support to the three Families and helps to guide them through their weeklong Adventure Therapy program in the beautiful wilderness of Kerry.

This last weekend saw the hosting of our Junior Surf Clubs "Surfer of the year awards". We were blessed with some great surf conditions and winter sunshine on Sunday morning. We all got out for a decent surf session and some Coaching for a couple of hours.

The club has experienced some fantastic growth and development and is now in its 2nd season of existence. With close to 50 Cork area based teenagers participating regularly and enjoying Shortboarding, Longboarding & Bodyboarding. The club's ethos is simple really, to develop young people's surfing skills in a positive environment with respect to the ocean and others.
