OUR SURFING ETHOS

GTown Surf School is a fully approved Irish Surfing Association Surf School and is run by Steve Tobin.Steve,a U.C.C. graduate,Sound Engineer and a Surfer,has been surfing for over a decade and looks forward to surfing decades more.Steve is a fully qualified and experienced I.S.A. Surf instructor,Beach and R.L.S.S. Pool lifeguard and takes great pride in offering a great surfing experience to beginners and improvers.

At GTown,we believe in Learning to Surf safely, with respect to the ocean & others and with expert tuition!

All our instructors are fully qualified and ISA approved Surf Instructors and Beach /Pool lifeguards.  

Surfing has experienced huge growth in Ireland over the last few years, some say too much but here at Gtown we pride ourselves on encouraging people to learn to surf through the correct progressions and to observe safe surfing practice and knowing the rules in the water. In a sense, to become an accomplished surfer you need to serve a Surf apprenticeship.

Every time you hit the water can be fun and gainful but resepct for local surfers, the beach and safety are paramount. Through our system of guided Improver lessons our customers can not fastrack but gain a clearer understanding of how to become an accomplished surfer that can enjoy the fabulous coastline that Ireland is blessed with.
